We pretty much tried every spot on the island. These smash burgers were hands down - best ever. Try the black and blue. Every part of this experience was great. Highly recommend. Great value. All that was left... (see photo)

We ate twice at this establishment during our stay on the island. The smash burgers are phenomenal at the Copper Otter. The patties were thin, crispy and flavourful. The toppings were generous. I've had been to multiple restaurants on the main land that have served "smash burgers" and I think these ones were better than all the others I've tried over the years. The lamb burger was also perfectly cooked and done in a smash burger style with goat cheese. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The decor inside is also quite cute with otter themed art work and prints and some pretty unique light fixtures. I'm looking forward to our next visit to the island just so I can have another perfect burger

At the outset - Thank you Jessie! Customer Service is just so warm and welcoming. Best place on the Pender Island for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch/Donner and Drinks ! Stayed two nights on the island. I had Rockfish burger and Prawn Fettuccine for dinner and my favourite Salmon Egg Bennys for breakfast both days. Home made ketchup and IPA . Chef is and Jessie is . Yes - I recommend this place , don’t misices it!

Beautiful establishment! We've been here every time we come to Pender. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend the Korean chicken dish (honey hot) I love the atmosphere; the lighting, the decor, and the seating are all great! We will continue to come back every time we're on the island! They also accommodated our family/group of 9, which was super helpful! Thanks for a great experience!

Lunch: The vegan polenta and tofu meal didn't taste as great as it was because of the two appetizers that preceded it. I ate too much. The beet hummus and tapenade appies were delicious. Loved the lavender lemonade. Dinner: the best pizza crust ever! Breakfast: to-die-for lemon blueberry crepe! The goal was to eat all three meals at the classy Copper Otter. I recommend you eat there all day long, too.

Stopped here twice during our stay. The Cajun Chicken & Brie burger was so good I had to have it twice. Sweet, salty, savoury all in one. It was something unique that I haven’t found elsewhere & absolutely delicious. They make a mean Cesar & yummy sangria. The other people in my party raved about their individual entrees. Friendly staff & a very comfortable patio with options for full sun or partial shade. Enjoyed the scent of flowers in the breeze while eating our meals.

The atmosphere, service, and food was amazing! Smash burgers were the best we've ever had, totally worth it! Poutine was a little over salted but not bad. Service was awesome, she came and checked on us multiple times. Great food and location! A must try!

Walked up from the marina to get some supplies and decided to stop for lunch. We had a fairly large group so there wasn’t room in the actual pub for us so we sat out in the green space on a picnic table. We were able to do takeout. The food was great and the service was excellent. The staff here are really nice and very accommodating. It was a pricey lunch, but that is to be expected with getting supplies on a small island. Definitely recommend the burgers they were excellent.
